The culinary journey at Illa Experience was a delight! We feasted on fresh salads and local dishes that seemed like a warm hug from Ecuador. Oh, and let's not forget about the really good dining experience at the hotel's restaurant- every meal was a culinary masterpiece. Plus, the team went out of their way to set up a Christmas tree just for us.
Everything shined, but a little more insider info on the area wouldn't hurt! While we loved the vibe, some streets did feel a bit sketchy at night-just a thing to keep in mind.

The small boutique hotel features beautifully designed rooms that enhance the overall stay experience, particularly the fine views and luxurious decor. The pool and terrace add charm, although the weather prevented us from using them. Breakfast was good, with a selection of cured meats that stood out. We had a immersive cultural experience at Illa Experience. The colonial mansion showcased the rich history of Ecuador's Andean architecture and the impact of the railroad. We even had the opportunity to paint with a local artist and learn about his life in Quito. The gourmet breakfast and rave reviews of the dinner made our stay even more nice. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and lovely experience.

The hotel is located in a historical part of the city near plazas, churches and museums. The staff is homely and welcoming, giving us personalized recommendations for local artisans and experiences. We particularly enjoyed the meals which offered small Ecuadorean delicacies for breakfast and tasty dinner options.
Although the service was friendly, it was not always attentive and proactive enough. On one occasion, we experienced poor service at the SPA, where we were told to wait for 1.5 hours for the jacuzzi to be heated up.

This venue is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and cultural experience. the staff provided exceptional service, treating me like family and ensuring that all my needs were met. Exclusive room advantages include a relaxing Spa lounge, which was impeccably clean, and a private garden area that allowed me to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. the restaurant served gourmet breakfast and dinner with special diet menus catered for my needs. I particularly loved the Jacuzzi and massage services, which were the height of exclusive amenities.
The only minor issue was the location, but it didn't detract from the luxurious experience. the hotel was slightly distant from the city center, but it was worth the travel time.
